it is all love

It is all love
slaves to the brain
to the crystal humility
shattered by our gods
muted in our painful lives
the motionless stone deaths
we prepare for
it is all love
the ghetto of tears
we swim in
the superb jails of hell
between the blooming flowers
& bleeding souls
stuck in the fever of cries
& self-sabotage
it is all love
the momentary eternity
of our brutal books
that enclose a million words
embracing separateness
& blind raging darkness
it is all love
the condemned animal
with nocturnal dreams
of eternal genesis
the sweat of belief
dripping from the gathering
masses gracing the cracks
of our bloodstained path
it is all love
no matter the different mouths
or restless words
or deathless promises
or suspicious skin colors
we are here
in the land
of weightless reflection &
mystical hope
it is all love
shy in the planet’s light
we pass away with open wounds
that whisper for explanations
that torment the walls
of sadness we leave behind
as part of a skyline of mortality
it is all love
from suffering & misery
& injured awareness
from the first name
& final psalm
from the crawling pilgrim
to the wounded criminal
from the blazing sun
to the drowning shadow
from the reluctant angels
to the trembling grass
it is all love
it is all love
it is all love
